Me as a fitness Trainer (Coach)

So after completing college at HICAS, I was the same IT nerd dreaming of landing a job in an MNC just like others, going for the job interviews, and waiting in the placement cell of the college for my turn to come, an average guy who just wanted to work 9-5 and thinking that this was life. I have a funny story of my first interview. It was the regular day in my college. I woke up at 7:00 AM, and I didn't have my breakfast. My mom was shouting at me, and in the rush, I spoiled my college shirt, and I had to wear one white formal shirt tucked in because I liked it in that way. Just don't ask me how or why I just liked it. Then I just went to the college by 8:20 AM. Mostly it was a regular day, and I was in the class scrolling reels, wasting time. Then my class tutor suddenly called me and a bunch of students to the lab and told them that one company had come for an interview and they had to go and attend the aptitude test, and by looking at me, Mam was like, "Vishal is ready for the interview," and I was like, "How?" (Main kasai pr pasa).

Then when I went to the placement hall, the instructions were given, and all the students got the question paper to solve the aptitude test, and in that, math was also included, and I really don't like math (it's a long story), and then I started writing my own answers, and the question that I do not understand I was asking others to somehow pass the exam.

And when it was the time of submission, I was damn sure that I would not pass the test, and I started with my regular class. After the test, we went back to the lab and started doing the practical work for our 6th sem, and when it was time to go back home, our class tutor got one list of the students who cleared the test, and in that list I was also there (bhas ke aank kasai) how is that even possibel, and the matter of fact i was the first person in that list.

"I was like, 'What?'" and told me to attend the interview before leaving the college. Then I and my friends are not friends with my chellaas (the forth wall because mai dost nahi banatha, hum chellaa banatha hai). So I and my chellas went to the interviewer room, which was in the placement cell, and when I entered the room, the first question they asked me was, "Tell me something about yourself," and it was like, "My my name is Vishal Srivastava, and I am studying in bachelor's in computer technology." MTLB was full of broken English, the most embarrassing moment of my life. And after the interview, the placement manager was asking how the interview went, and i was like good (the forth wall but mn hee mn mai chalraha tha kee mai yeh kya kr rha hun).

It was a lesson for me because for me every embarrassing moment comes with a lesson, and after that incident I was like, "I have to work on myself." I was having a fear of getting late in my life; everyone around me is getting some job, and I was the unemployed person left. Clearly speaking, I was getting anxiety attacks before sleep. But as a man, I have to throw it away and start working on me, my communication, my skills, and my speaking skills, especially my gaming skill.

At that time the year was 2021. I guess I was into BGMI, which was also called PUBG at that time. I was a freaking nerd of that game, playing 15 hours a day. Can you imagine 15 hours a day? I was a fat fu*king pig slopping around BGMI in a POCO X2. That was my first gaming phone.

Then I started having a exposure of tournment in BGMI that can pay you as an e-sports athlete, and I was like, "This can be a career opportunity to make some money." Then I started following Discord servers to find new good players. I started following Scout, Mortal, Jhonathan & Godlike, etc. These were the top players in the YouTube gaming community, and they were making lums of money from YouTube just by playing games in livestream.

Then I thought, "Why not? I should give it a try," and I got success kind of. But there is a saying: once you start climbing up, people will start hating you just because they couldn't climb. My org started hiring players, providing them good iPhones from my personal money, which I was able to afford because I was working IT, doing the customer care job for a 2.5 LPA annual salary. I was doing everything, but in the end I was wrong; it didn't work for me because my teammate started hating me just because I was earning better than them. There are 3 people who destroyed my e-sports career just for money and greediness i will not mention the name because they don't even derserve my respect.

But on the other hand, God was planning something great for me because I never cheated with my work nor with my people. So God was planning far better things for me, and when I started noticing things, the dots were connected. To explain briefly, I met an old friend from school, and he was working as a group trainer in a gym. I met him on Instagram, and we started meeting in the open area gym at Race Course, Coimbatore. (the fourth wall) Don't get excited; this was also a test for me from God to see whether I was a perfect fit for this or not.

But I proved that I was the perfect fit. The moral of the story is (GOD WILL ALWAYS TEST YOU).

Be ready to face it.

The opportunity is everywhere; you just have to find it.

And then, after meeting my old friend of mine, he told me there is an opening in my gym for a fitness trainer, and they need freshers. So, he asked if I would like to join, and trust me, I was needing a job at that moment. So, I signed up and worked 6 hours a day for a salary of 5k a month (the fourth wall). Don't look at me like that, yeah, 5k a month, you read it right. But it was good, although the salary was not great, I gained a bunch of experience by talking to new people, and I mean big shots, the tycoons of Coimbatore. From there, I started having good networking, and the idea was born: The Apexfitin.in.
